Peptides in 2018: New Developments in Peptide Technology!

Peptides and science have had a great run over the past year with many new key developments and improvements made in the space.

With increases in technology, scientists as well as compounding specialists have the ability to synthesise and produce the best peptides on the market with enhanced precision and to a much higher grade.

A few key themes in the research space for peptide enthusiasts included the growth in popularity of healing peptides. With age, people tend to naturally inure much easier and as such peptides have been crowned as the hoy grail to combating this with many exciting developments in the space.

2 peptides that gained most prominence over the past year were TB-500 and BPC-157. TB-500 is of course one of the most powerful injury repair peptides whilst BPC-157 tends to focus more on wound healing and recovery.

For these reasons, both have become popular with many athletes and individuals choosing to stack both together during times of recovery as it pertains to both muscles / ligaments and injuries / wounds.

As it pertained to performance peptides, CJC-1295 continues to dominate as it is expected to do so for many years to come. A key theme amongst industry enthusiasts was CJC-1295 with DAC vs non DAC. Whilst the DAC version has been said top be most popular due to its use of use and minimal injection frequency, the non DAC version has become popular.

Also, the fact that CJC-1295 forms the perfect ‘base’ to a good peptide stack has meant that this product continues to be one of the most popular in the research peptide market. Combinations with CJC-1295 with DAC include GHRP-6, GHRP-2, Ipamorelin and of course both dealign peptides TB-500 and BPC-157.

In terms of fat loss peptides the two most popular amongst practitioners continue to be AOD (HGH Frag 176-191) and Ipamorelin. While the key benefits of the AOD compound include isolating the hunger element in GHRP to produce leaner muscle and reduced fat, the Ipamorelin compound has had it’s key benefits shown to include reduced hunger, less fat and lower water retention.

The two are exceptionally popular for this reason and have been known to be stacked together however the one commonality that has been reported as it pertains to both is the skin benefits and anti ageing properties contained with both.

Another key theme observed in male subjects within the research peptide space was enhanced libido performance pertaining top Melanotan II. Whilst everyone knows about the healthy tanning benefits of Melanotan whilst used to build up a glowing base tan, many are not as aware that the compound has also shown libido improvements in both men and women.

This fact was studied in more detail with continued studies being undertaken, making the compound one to watch in the new year as continued developments and improvements are being made.

A key theme in the growth peptide family was advanced studies on the differences between GHRP-6 and GHRP-2, with key conclusions being made the the GHRP-2 compound still proves to get a much leaner result in subjects as opposed to the GHRP-6 which has been shown to be more advantageous and beneficial to individuals seeking the ‘bulk’ look while on a cycle.

While continued advances and developers are made in this space, the practical applications and scientific developments in the research peptide world have been seemingly endless with an exciting year ahead and more new developments to come across the entire peptide family and collection.

Stay tuned for more updates throughout the year..
